The easy to use technology provides care teams with person centred tools, timelines, assessments and more to drive outstanding care and improve outcomes for those with support needs. How will the integration with Altra work?

By activating the Altra integration in Nourish you will be able to maximise efficiency and consistency of data between the two platforms and have the latest activity information easily available to your teams at the point of care.

The following information will be shared between systems:

  • The profiles of people supported will be automatically shared from Nourish into Altra so there is one "source of truth" for your organisation

  • Activities completed within Altra will be shared to the timeline of the person supported in Nourish, including if someone declines to take part and how the activity was rated

  • Within Nourish, you can add details of a relative or friend that should be given access to Altra for a supported person, this will automatically be shared with Altra and an account created

  • Staff profiles on Nourish can be sent to Altra to create their login and access details to Altra

This information sharing improves efficiency for your organisation, allowing you to maintain a single "source of truth" for your most important information.

How do I switch on the integration?

Before you start, you need access to both Altra and Nourish, please contact your Nourish customer success manager if you’re interested in purchasing Altra and you don’t already have an account.

  1. Within Altra, go to Org Settings

  2. On the website tab, scroll down to ‘Nourish Integration Token’ (you need to be a super manager to see this area)

  3. Tick the box to ‘Sync with Nourish’ and ‘Save changes’

  4. An integration token will appear in the box, this is what you need for the next steps:

  5. Go to Nourish and navigate to Administration > Extensions (you will need to be a superuser to do this).

  6. On the Extensions page, find 'Altra’ Extension, and click the arrow to expand the drop down.

  7. You will see all the locations in your service listed. Select the toggle to activate the integration for the relevant locations in your service.

  8. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions, and click continue:

  9. Then paste the token from Altra into the token box and press confirm:

  10. The integration should now show as on for each of the relevant locations:

How often will profile information sync from Nourish to Altra?

Once the integration is set up as above, resident profile information will automatically be transferred from Nourish to Altra once a day at approximately 1am each morning.

We recommend running the first transfer manually by clicking "start sync" on the Org Settings page in Altra.

Once you have switched on the integration you can run a manual transfer of person supported information.

This sync can be run at any time to update people supported in Altra, but they will automatically be updated once a day (at approximately 1am) each day anyway.
