WHAT'S INCLUDED AUTOMATICALLY
Every facility newsletter opens with an optional introduction and a Birthdays this month section, drawn from residents’ recorded dates of birth. Either can be turned off in Org Settings.
CREATING A FACILITY NEWSLETTER
Go to the Facility Newsletter tab and click Create Facility Newsletter.
2. Give it a name and, optionally, an introduction.
Adding sections. Each section fills a part of the page. For every section, choose a layout (how it’s split into parts) and, for each part, a layout option — free text, an imported photo, or an existing post pulled in with its text and image attached.
Adding a photo prompts you to crop it to fit the layout.
Pulling in a post. Choosing Posts shows a dropdown of recent posts for the period, listed by preview text. Pick one to bring in its text and photos — remove images or edit text before publishing.
GENERATING PDF AND/OR PUBLISHING AS A POST
Once you have added all the sections you want to include, at the top and bottom, you will have a few options to choose from:
Save — keep it as a draft.
Publish and add as post — publishes the newsletter and creates a linked post that tags every resident automatically.
Generate PDF — creates a printable or emailable PDF.
The newsletter display two sections per page, with the first page including the introduction, birthdays for the period and the first section you created.
MANAGING EXISTING NEWSLETTERS
Every newsletter is saved on the Facility Newsletter page with its published status. Published means families and staff can see it; unpublished keeps it visible only to managers and permitted staff, as a draft. Click Show more to open one, or use Publish/Unpublish at the top. To edit, scroll to the bottom and click Edit — from there you can also re-download the PDF or delete it.
Clicking "show more" will open that newsletter.
