Families want to know what their loved one is eating each week. The Menu module allows you to show what's on offer straight from the Altra app. You can display what's on offer each week and print daily or weekly views to display around the home. Simply scroll to the right to view the full week on the web app, or scroll down on the mobile app.
ADDING ITEMS TO THE MENU
You can easily Add an item to the menu by filling in a few fields. First set your meal types in the org settings then click "Add Menu Item". You then have two options, add items manually (add individual), or add multiple items at once via CSV upload.
ADDING ITEMS VIA BULK UPLOAD (CSV)
Download the sample CSV from the group upload page and add your items here ensuring the CSV has the following headers:
meal, name, date, allergens, description.
Allergens and description fields are optional but the heading should still be present on the CSV.
When you have your file ready, upload it and click "import file". This will bring you to the verification page where you can make any changes.
Once you've verified all details, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "add menus" button to upload all items at once.
EDITING OR DELETING MENU ITEMS
If you click on any item on the menu, you access its details and can edit it or delete it:
GENERATE DAILY/WEEKLY PDF PRINT OUT
Click on the generate PDF button and select daily or weekly to print the menu as daily print out (each day has its own page) or weekly. Here's an example of the daily print:
CHANGE THE TEMPLATE AND BACKGROUND IMAGE
*Please note that you need a Manager account to be able to do this.
Go to Org settings, then in the Menu tab. There you can define the PDF orientation, choose a layout and change the background image.
Here are a few examples of background images that you can use for the Landscape orientation. You can right click on them to save the picture on your computer and then add it to your Org settings:
