Altra Family is a private app that lets your care home share updates, photos and videos about your loved one — and lets you share your own back. It’s a simple way to stay close, even when you can’t be there every day.
KEEPING FAMILIES IN THE LOOP
Your care home uses Altra to share day-to-day updates about your loved one — photos, videos, notes, and more. You’ll only ever see updates about your own family member, never about anyone else.
More than one family member can stay involved, too. Whoever is the main point of contact for your loved one — called the primary contact — can invite other relatives and friends to join, so everyone who cares can stay in the loop.
GETTING STARTED
Look out for an invitation. Once you’ve been added as a relative, you’ll get an email invite from [email protected]. Just follow the link to sign up. Need a hand? Contact Altra at [email protected].
Use it on your phone, tablet or computer. Altra Family works in any web browser, or as an app — see the download links below.
Everything is linked to your loved one’s profile, so you’ll only see what’s relevant to them.
See what they’ve been up to — photos, videos, voice notes and messages, shared directly with you.
Send your own updates. Share your own photos and messages — these can also be printed into a personal Family Newsletter for your loved one to keep.
Invite others. If you’re the primary contact, invite other family members or friends to join too.
