Converting digital content into physical newsletters to the delight of your residents

We’ve created a simple 2-step process so you can print personalised newsletters for your residents with content posted by their families and your staff on Altra. The Newsletter will also become a new source of interaction between your residents and team beyond the “here and now”.

FAMILY NEWSLETTER SETTINGS

Newsletter configuration is done by managers in the Org settings.

"Number of days to include" defines the newsletter frequency and the reminder sends an email to all managers and staff who set-up the notification in their profile.

PRINTING THE FAMILY NEWSLETTER

Family Newsletter is found in the Residents tab:


Click the button and it will generate the newsletter automatically.

INCLUDING NURSING HOME POSTS ON THE NEWSLETTER FOR RESIDENTS

In Org settings, if the box “include nursing home posts” is not ticked, clicking on the Family Newsletter button will trigger the download and will only include posts from the relatives.

If the box is ticked, clicking on Family Newsletter will bring you to a new page to pick and choose the nursing home posts that you think are relevant. Those posts will only be added in the newsletters of residents that were tagged in the posts.

Choose the posts and scroll to the bottom to generate the family newsletter with the chosen posts.
