How do I add an activity to the calendar?
Click Add event, including a link or supporting documentation if relevant — or, from the Wellbeing Library, open a ready-made activity and click Add to activity calendar.
Can an activity repeat automatically?
Yes — set how often it repeats (every X days, weeks or months), which day(s) of the week, and either how many times it repeats or Until deleted.
What’s a “family event,” and how do RSVPs work?
Marking an event as a family event notifies families and lets them RSVP directly from the invite — useful for a summer party or Christmas gathering. Check responses (Attending, Not Attending, No Response) under the event’s Relative Participation tab, and resend invites to anyone who hasn’t replied.
Can each department have its own calendar?
Yes — turn on multiple activity calendars per department in Org Settings → Activities Calendar, make sure department names are set up correctly, and assign events to a department as you add them.
How do I print the weekly activities calendar, and what do the layout options mean?
Click Generate PDF and choose Weekly to open a live preview with a panel of layout options: Layout (Auto, Spacious, Comfort or Compact — how richly each activity is shown), Text size (Auto, S, M or L — Auto never drops below a readable minimum), and Day structure (No split, AM·PM, or AM·Lunch·PM), plus options to fill the available height, show the weekend, and show or hide each activity’s location. Tick Save as this home’s default settings to keep your choices for everyone going forward.
How do I record which residents took part in an activity, and how they seemed?
Click the event (or a one-on-one activity), select residents from the dropdown, and use the smiley faces to track mood or the red X to note a decline — add comments per resident to feed into activity reports.
