What’s the difference between the Family Newsletter and the Facility Newsletter?
The Family Newsletter is personal to one resident — a printed keepsake gathering everything their family and your team have shared with them. The Facility Newsletter is for the whole home, combining an introduction, birthdays, and content pulled from recent posts, and can be printed or sent to all families.
Will a private message show up in a resident’s printed newsletter?
No — anything sent as a direct message is excluded, since it’s meant to stay between the family and the care home.
How do I set how far back a Family Newsletter looks?
In Org Settings, set Number of days to include — you can also turn on a reminder email for managers or staff who’ve opted in.
Can I adjust a newsletter before printing it?
Yes — choose Preview & Crop instead of generating it automatically, which lets you re-centre a photo or expand a post to a full page if there’s too much text to fit on half.
How do I know if a Facility Newsletter is visible to families yet?
Check its status on the Facility Newsletter page: Published means families and staff can see it; Unpublished keeps it visible only to managers and permitted staff, as a draft.
