Who can invite a resident’s family to Altra?
Managers, staff with permission to edit resident profiles, and the resident’s own primary relative.
What are the two ways to invite a family member?
Either go to the resident’s profile and click Invite relatives to send an invitation by email, or share the resident’s unique Family Code (found under Edit on web, or directly on the profile in the mobile app) however suits you — text, WhatsApp, or otherwise.
How do I check on invitations that haven’t been accepted yet?
Go to Org Settings and click View pending relatives to see everyone invited but not yet joined — from there you can resend an invitation or delete it.
What is a “primary contact,” and how do I set one?
The primary contact is usually the main point of contact for a resident, and can invite other relatives themselves. Set or remove the flag by clicking a family member’s name on the resident’s profile.
As a family member, can I invite other relatives myself?
Yes, if you’re the primary contact — invite others by email or by sharing the Family Code, the same way a manager would.
