Posts and Communication

How do I share an update with a resident’s family?

Click Add post on the homepage, tag the resident(s) it’s about, choose your privacy settings, add a description and optionally a photo, video, voice note, poll or document, then click Post now (or schedule it for later).

Can I send something privately, just to one family?

Yes. Tick Mark as private when creating a post to send it as a private message directly to the tagged residents’ families, or tick Send to primary contact only to reach just the primary contact.

Can families see each other’s comments?

Not by default. Hide comments from other relatives is on by default, keeping each family’s comments visible only to them. You can also deactivate comments from relatives entirely on a given post if needed.

Does every post need approval before it’s visible to families?

It depends on your staff permissions — some accounts require a manager’s approval before a post goes live. If that’s the case, a message appears at the top of the screen when you create the post.

Can I edit or delete a post after publishing it?

Yes, at any time — open the post and use the edit or delete options.

How do I see who’s viewed or liked a post?

Click View in the top-right corner of the post to see which residents were tagged, and who viewed or liked it.
