Content Library

Use the Content Library to share documents, videos and guides with staff and families, and to build step-by-step guides for residents with cognitive difficulties.

TWO SECTIONS

The Content Library is split in 2 section:

  • Family Content — a permanent space for documents, videos and other resources, searchable instead of buried in old posts.

  • Resident Content — step-by-step guides that help residents keep track of things they need to do.

ADDING FAMILY CONTENT

  1. Click Add Content and fill in the form.

  2. Add filters (comma-separated tags) so families can search by topic.

  3. Attach documents, audio files, or a YouTube video via an embed code.

  4. Set the status to Published or Unpublished before saving.

EMBEDDING A VIDEO

To add a YouTube video:

  1. On the video, click Share.

  2. Select Embed, then Copy.

  3. Paste the embed code into the Content Library.

4. Click Add - the video now appears in your content page.

VIEW ENGAGEMENT STATISTICS

With permission to create and edit content, click Statistics to see who’s viewed it.

RESIDENT GUIDES

Open the Resident Content tab to see existing guides, each made up of several steps you define.

Creating a guide:

  1. Click Create Guide and enter a name, filter, description and status.

  2. Click Create step for each step, attaching materials as needed.

  3. Reorder steps, then click Save.

ADD A RESIDENT GUIDE TO THE ACTIVITY CALENDAR

Preview it and add it to the activity calendar — it then appears as a link on the event’s details page, and directly on the calendar for the resident using it.

Once your guide is created, you can preview it and add it to the activity calendar.

When you click on the related activity in the calendar, you can see the content guide link in the activity details page:
